IDOM MIDDLE EAST LANDS ANOTHER CLIENT IN LEBANON
Credit Libanais Selects AML-Reporter & DNFS Suite as their Automated AML Solutions

BEIRUT, LEBANON, July 1, 2004 – IDOM Middle East, LLC is very pleased to announce that Credit Libanais, with headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon, will be implementing AML-Reporter and DNFS (Designated Name Filtering System) as their automated anti-money laundering solutions.

Fakhruddin Khalil, Chairman of IDOM Middle East, said, “We are delighted to continue expanding our Middle Eastern banking clientele with Credit Libanais who is regarded as a very prestigious bank in the region. We look forward to working closely with them on the upcoming implementations.”

The AML-Reporter software is extremely efficient in the detection of suspicious activities to help to prevent money laundering in financial institutions. The DNFS software is used to filter black listed names. These software solutions maintain internal audit trails and are used to assist banks in implementing the recommendations of international anti-money laundering publications from FATF (Financial Action Task Force) and the Basel Committee, as well as being instrumental in meeting specific monitoring requirements for compliance with local Central banks' anti-money laundering regulations.

“We wanted to enhance our AML compliance capabilities and felt that IDOM Middle East’s solution would complement our current control systems to better position us in meeting the growing AML monitoring demands expected from both local and international regulators, and this AML software is the automated solution needed for this purpose,” stated Mr. Antoine Raad, Credit Libanais Deputy General Manager, Information Technology Division.

“By deploying automated safeguards such as AML-Reporter and DNFS to complement their AML Compliance Unit, Credit Libanais will soon realize the benefits automation can provide to streamline current monitoring procedures,” stated Vincent Raniere IDOM Middle East Managing Director.

Credit Libanais is engaged in full-service banking activities including retail, corporate and investment banking as well as mortgage lending. Through its subsidiaries, the bank is also active in insurance, data processing, credit card issuing, leasing and real estate investment.
